WellPro reviews professional credentials and liability insurance before approving a Specialist profile. Profiles may also include reviews, testimonials, educational content, booking history, and other details that help Seekers make informed decisions.
These trust signals provide useful context. They are not endorsements, guarantees, or substitutes for reviewing whether a Specialist is appropriate for your needs.
What WellPro reviews
As part of the Specialist application, WellPro requires:
- A valid professional license or certification for each listed modality
- A current Certificate of Insurance showing professional liability coverage
- Accurate identity, business, and practice information
- Any additional information needed to review eligibility
Requirements can vary based on the Specialist’s profession, services, and location.
Where a profession is not regulated through a government-issued license, WellPro may review the certification or professional credential represented by the Specialist.
What a verification badge means
A verification badge means WellPro completed its stated verification process using the information available at that time.
The badge does not mean that WellPro:
- Employs or supervises the Specialist
- Endorses every service or claim
- Guarantees the quality or safety of a session
- Guarantees a specific result
- Confirms that the Specialist is the right fit for every Seeker
- Replaces your own review and judgment
Specialists are independent professionals who control how they operate their practices and provide their services.
How verification is maintained
Specialists must keep their credentials and liability insurance current.
When a required document expires:
- The Specialist has a seven-day grace period to submit an acceptable replacement.
- The public profile may remain visible during the grace period.
- The profile is hidden if a replacement has not been approved by the end of that period.
- The profile may become visible again after WellPro approves the updated document.
Specialists must also report changes that could affect their eligibility, including restrictions, discipline, license suspension, loss of insurance, or other changes affecting their ability to practice safely.
Expiration reminders are a convenience. Specialists remain responsible for maintaining every credential, authorization, and insurance policy required for their work.
Other information shown on a Specialist profile
A public profile may include:
- Professional credentials
- Education and experience
- Modalities and specialties
- Services and prices
- Practice approach
- Location and service format
- Testimonials and reviews
- Published educational articles
- Frequently asked questions
- Booking and cancellation information
Some reviews may be imported from third-party services. Imported reviews originate outside WellPro and may not have been independently verified by WellPro.
Profile information is provided or selected by the Specialist. WellPro may review, moderate, or request corrections, but profile approval does not confirm every statement as clinically or professionally accurate.
Review a Specialist before booking
Before booking, consider:
- Whether their credentials cover the service you want
- Whether the credential is current in the location where the service will occur
- Their experience with your goals or concerns
- Their service format, location, availability, and price
- Their approach and communication style
- Their cancellation and booking information
- Whether you need advice from a licensed healthcare provider before using the service
You can also message the Specialist through WellPro to ask questions before booking.
If you believe information is inaccurate
Contact WellPro if you believe a Specialist has:
- Misrepresented a credential or qualification
- Listed an expired, suspended, or restricted license
- Misrepresented their experience or services
- Made unsafe or unsupported claims
- Engaged in concerning or inappropriate conduct
Use the available reporting option or contact support@wellpro.io. Include the Specialist’s name, the information you are concerned about, and supporting details or screenshots when available.
Do not use WellPro reporting for an emergency. Call 911 or your local emergency number if someone may be in immediate danger.
