Audience: Specialists

Specialists need an active WellPro subscription to keep their public profile visible and use Specialist tools.

Specialists who accept payments through WellPro must also complete Stripe payout setup.

Specialist subscription options

WellPro offers two standard subscription options:

  1. Quarterly: $400 every three months
  2. Annual: $1,400 every year

Your subscription gives you access to Specialist features such as:

  1. Your public Specialist profile
  2. Manage Expert Profile
  3. Messaging
  4. WellPro booking tools
  5. Content tools
  6. The Growth Hub
  7. Profile and content analytics

Subscriptions renew automatically at the selected billing interval until canceled.

How to manage your subscription

  1. Sign in to your WellPro account.
  2. Go to your dashboard.
  3. Select Manage Expert Profile.
  4. Select Business Settings.
  5. Open the subscription or billing section.
  6. Follow the instructions shown to update or cancel your subscription.

If you cancel, your subscription remains active through the end of the period you already paid for. You will not receive a prorated refund for unused time.

Your subscription will not renew after the cancellation takes effect.

If a renewal payment fails

If WellPro cannot process your renewal payment, automatic payment retries may occur.

Your profile will not be hidden after the first failed attempt. If all scheduled payment retries fail, your subscription becomes inactive and your public Specialist profile is hidden.

Go to Manage Expert Profile → Business Settings to update your payment method.

WellPro’s booking fee

WellPro deducts a 10% booking fee from payments collected through WellPro booking. This fee includes payment processing fees, so a separate processing fee is not deducted from your payout.

For a completed $100 session:

  1. The Seeker pays $100.
  2. WellPro deducts a $10 booking fee.
  3. Your earnings are $90 before any applicable taxes, refunds, chargebacks, or other adjustments.

The 10% fee also applies to payments retained after late cancellations and no-shows.

The WellPro booking fee does not apply when a Seeker completes a genuine external booking and pays outside WellPro.

How cancellations affect your earnings

All WellPro bookings follow the same cancellation policy:

  1. 48 hours or more before the session: The Seeker receives a full refund, and you do not receive a payment.
  2. 24 to 48 hours before the session: The Seeker receives a 50% refund. The remaining 50% is treated as the retained payment.
  3. Less than 24 hours before the session: The Seeker does not receive a refund.
  4. Seeker no-show: The Seeker does not receive a refund.
  5. Specialist cancellation: The Seeker receives a full refund, and you do not receive a payment.

WellPro deducts its 10% fee from any amount retained for you.

For example, if a Seeker pays $100 and cancels 30 hours before the session:

  1. The Seeker receives a $50 refund.
  2. $50 remains as the retained payment.
  3. WellPro deducts a $5 fee.
  4. Your earnings are $45 before any other applicable adjustments.

How to set up payouts

WellPro uses Stripe Connect to send Specialist payouts.

To complete payout setup:

  1. Sign in to your WellPro account.
  2. Go to Manage Expert Profile.
  3. Select Business Settings.
  4. Open the payout section.
  5. Follow the Stripe Connect instructions.
  6. Confirm that your identity, bank, tax, and business information is complete.

You must finish payout setup before you can receive money from WellPro bookings.

When payouts are released

Eligible earnings are released after the 14-day session review period.

The review period gives WellPro time to address cancellations, refund requests, attendance questions, chargebacks, payment errors, or reported booking problems before funds are released.

After WellPro releases the payout, the time needed to deposit the money into your bank account depends on Stripe and your financial institution.

Why a payout may be delayed

A payout may be delayed if:

  1. Your Stripe Connect setup is incomplete.
  2. Stripe needs additional identity or business information.
  3. Your bank or tax information is incorrect.
  4. A refund, cancellation, no-show, or chargeback is being reviewed.
  5. Your professional verification or insurance has expired.
  6. Your account has a payment, safety, or compliance restriction.

Check Manage Expert Profile → Business Settings first. Contact WellPro support if your information is complete and the payout still appears delayed.
